AI Features
AI in Reedle is grounded in your content. Every answer references the article you're reading — not the open internet, not the model's training data.
Article summarization
Open any article and click Summarize. Reedle generates a 2–4 paragraph summary covering the key arguments, methodology (for papers), and conclusions.
- Works on web articles, PDFs, YouTube transcripts, and Bilibili subtitles
- Summary is cached — the same article won't cost credits again
- Long papers are chunked and summarized hierarchically
Ask AI
Click Ask AI in any article to open the chat panel. Ask anything about the content:
- "What's the main contribution of this paper?"
- "Explain the methodology section in simple terms"
- "What are the limitations the authors mention?"
- "Summarize the arguments against X"
The AI only answers based on the article. If the answer isn't in the content, it says so.
Key insight extraction
Reedle can extract structured insights from articles:
| Insight type | What it extracts |
|---|---|
| Key claims | The main assertions the author makes |
| Evidence | Data, studies, or examples cited |
| Counterarguments | Challenges or limitations acknowledged |
| Terms | Domain-specific vocabulary with definitions from context |
Auto flashcard generation
Reedle can generate flashcard questions from your highlights automatically. See Flashcards for details.
