Flashcards
Turn what you read into what you remember. Reedle creates spaced repetition flashcards from your highlights — with or without AI-generated questions.
How it works
- Highlight key passages as you read
- Select highlights and click Create Flashcards
- Reedle generates Q/A pairs from the text (AI-powered, uses 1 credit/card)
- Cards go into a deck — you can review immediately or schedule later
- Spaced repetition surfaces cards before you forget them
Card types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Q/A | Question on front, answer on back — generated from your highlight |
| Cloze | Fill-in-the-blank — key term blanked from the highlighted sentence |
| Plain | Just the highlight text on front — you supply the review |
Reviewing
Go to Flashcards → Due to see cards due for review today. After each card:
- Again — didn't remember, show again soon
- Hard — remembered with difficulty, shorter interval
- Good — remembered well, normal interval
- Easy — too easy, longer interval
Review intervals follow the SM-2 algorithm — cards you know well appear less often, cards you struggle with appear more often.
Decks
Cards are organized into decks. You can create decks manually or let Reedle create one per article automatically. Move cards between decks at any time.
Stats
Flashcards → Stats shows your review history, retention rate by deck, and cards due this week.
MCP access
The MCP server exposes reedle_list_cards_due, reedle_review_card,reedle_get_deck, and reedle_list_decks — so you can review flashcards from inside Claude or any MCP client. See MCP Tools.
